An access ban at the request of an interested third party lasts at least one year. After this period, the excluded person can apply for the access ban to be lifted. Such a request must be well-founded. The motivation can relate to, for example:
- Your current financial situation (no debts);
- Your ability to limit the money you spend on gambling to a part of your income;
- Your ability to control the time you spend gambling;
- Your capacity to consider gambling as a form of entertainment only.
You should also include documents to support your application (bank statements proving that you are debt free, documents proving that you have received counselling for the treatment of your gambling problem, etc.).
The interested third party will be informed of this request for cancellation and will be given the opportunity to respond.
Once the application is complete, it will be placed on the agenda of the Gaming Commission (GC) and you will be invited by registered letter or by e-mail to present your arguments for lifting the access ban.
